This office, has today, received a number of telephone calls from drivers that have received letters/fixed penatly notices for using the Ghyllgrove bus link.

For your information, Essex County Council issue the permits for the Ghyllgrove bus link.  We simply issued them to drivers as part of the vehicle renewal process last year.  The Licensing team sends a list of licensed vehicles to Essex County Council, every month, to take account of any changes/new licensed vehicles etc.  If you do receive one of these notices, please can you call the Safer Roads Bureau (SRB) on 01277 636610.  It’s open from 9.30 to 3.00pm Monday to Friday.  The staff there will advise you what you should do.

I have also been informed that the Essex Call centre have this number and in future it will be added onto the PCN – currently there is no telephone contact number.
